Fake It
Airbrush Tanning

How much do you want to lie in the sun to get that gorgeous summertime tan?

Don't risk the damaging effects of UV rays on your skin.

It's very simple.  Over time, the sun's UV exposure destroys your skin's collagen and elastin.  Eventually, this will leave you with sagging, wrinkling skin or even skin cancer.  But every year millions of people sunbathe trying to achieve that no so "healthy" tan.  A tan is just the body saying, "I'm being damaged".  Cells deep in the skin known as melanocytes release melanin which is the pigmented color we see as a tan.  Melanin is a phenomenal free radical scavenger.  UV exposure creates free radicals in the skin, which are damaging to our cells, and the body's immune response is to create melanin to combat the damage free radicals can do (skin cancer, premature aging, wrinkles, sagging skin).

Tanning beds are even more dangerous to your skin.  So why risk it?  Fake it! Airbrush tanning is a new and safe way of achieving a golden look without the risks of skin cancer often associated with overexposure from the sun or tanning beds.  It will give you that glow you are looking for without the damaging side effects of UV exposure.  Prevent your skin's premature aging with a natural looking airbrushed tan.   It lasts 5-14 days depending on your skin type and care.  Airbrushing provides a flawless, even, sheer coverage that is ordorless and washes off slowsly over time.  You can go as light or as dark as you want.  Two airbrush tans are equivalent to five tanning bed sessions.

Airbrush tanning uses an ingredient called DHA and selected extracts and oils that react with the amino acids in the upper layers of the skin which reate a long lasting effect.  It won't rub off, won't look orange or streaky.

Still Want to Tan?

For those who do not heed the warnings, we also have IPL Photodynamic facial treatments to help repair the damage done to your skin and remove those precancerous cells.

Pre-Procedure Instructions

To get the most out of your tan, please exfoliate starting several days prior to your procedure, but not the day of the procedure.  The skin should be clean and free from lotions and oils.  You can use sugar/salt scrubs or chemical exfoliating such as glycolic body lotions.  Salt body glow is a service we offer our customers for an additional fee.  Exfoliating the dead skin cells off your body prior to your procedure will create a good base for a longer lasting more even tan.   Areas that have an accumulation of dead skin tend to absorb more solution and be darker.

Please bring a swimsuit or something to wear during the procedure.

The Procedure

One coat is about a 20 minute session.  During that time the solution is sprayed onto your body in an even coat.  You will see yourself get instantly darker.  The solution includes a bronzer that shows an instant tan while the solution is developing on your skin.

You will need to remain standing for about 10 minutes while the product is absorbed into the skin and dries.  You can safely get dressed when your skin is dry.

Post-Procedure Instructions

You should sleep in the tan and then shower the next morning.  The bronzer will wash off in the shower and you will be left with your new tan.

You should moisturize your skin with a moisturizer that does not contain a chemical or enzyme exfoliant for the next several days.  Exfoliating after you have received your tan will make the tan wear off faster.  With proper care, your tan should last longer than a week.

Tanning is currently on special for the summer months.  A one coat full body tan is $35 and two coats is $45.  Face, neck, décolleté and arms is $15.  Discounts are available for frequent tanners.
